Studio Visit: DKV UPH goes to EGGHEAD

On June 18, 2026, students enrolled in the Design Management course participated in a Studio Visit to EGGHEAD, a branding agency with more than 13 years of experience in helping businesses build and grow meaningful brands. The visit was organized as part of the course’s learning activities to provide students with direct exposure to the creative industry and a deeper understanding of how branding agencies develop strategies, identities, and experiences for their clients.

The session began with an introduction to EGGHEAD, where students learned about the agency’s background, philosophy, and approach to branding. Guided by the principle of “Where Brand Makes a Difference,” the team shared how branding extends beyond visual identity and serves as a strategic tool for creating meaningful connections between businesses and their audiences. Through presentations and case studies, students gained insights into the agency’s process, from conducting brand audits and developing brand strategies to crafting visual identities and implementing them across various media and touchpoints.

Students also had the opportunity to learn about the role of design in shaping customer experiences and building long-term brand value. The EGGHEAD team shared their perspectives on the evolving branding landscape, highlighting the challenges and opportunities faced by practitioners in today’s dynamic creative industry.

Following the presentation, students participated in an interactive question-and-answer session with the EGGHEAD team. The discussion provided valuable insights into professional practice, including strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, client collaboration, project management, and the realities of working within the branding industry. Through this exchange, students were able to gain a deeper understanding of how branding decisions are made and how creative professionals navigate the challenges of building impactful brands.

The visit concluded with a group discussion and documentation session, giving students the opportunity to reflect on the insights they had gained throughout the visit. Through EGGHEAD’s sharing session and industry perspectives, students developed a broader understanding of branding as both a creative and strategic discipline, while also gaining valuable exposure to professional practices within the creative industry.
