TJ Radio : Sinema Komedi Jakarta goes to DKV UPH!

Get ready for a fun and engaging cinematic experience. DKV UPH, in collaboration with TJ Radio Jakarta, proudly presents Sinema Komedi Jakarta Keliling Kampus, a program that brings film screenings and interactive discussions to campus.

This session offers more than entertainment. It creates a space for students to explore Indonesian comedy films, join casual discussions with creators, and experience storytelling from a creative industry perspective.

The event combines film screening and workshop sessions designed to inspire, entertain, and connect students with the world of film and creative collaboration.

Sinema Komedi Jakarta Keliling Kampus
Participants will enjoy a curated comedy film screening, followed by a discussion session with the TJ Radio team, including the host, moderator, and creative talents.

Through this session, participants gain insights into the filmmaking process and creative storytelling. They also learn about producing comedy content in today’s media landscape. In addition, the event encourages open dialogue, creative exchange, and collaboration among student communities.

DKV UPH goes to Nerdylicious 1.0!

DKV UPH participated in Nerdylicious 1.0 on April 11th–12th, 2026, at Lippo Plaza Ekalokasari, Bogor. The two-day event served as a vibrant pop culture platform that brought together local creators and passionate collectors, showcasing a wide range of creative works beyond comics.

During the event, DKV UPH took part in the exhibition, presenting student works and engaging with the broader creative community. This participation provided an opportunity to explore how pop culture continues to expand across various mediums, including merchandise, illustration, and creative products.

Nerdylicious 1.0 also created a dynamic space for interaction between creators, audiences, and collectors. Participants were able to exchange ideas, appreciate creative outputs, and gain insights into the growing pop culture landscape in Indonesia.

SPOT 1 – Illustrating Wearable Art

SPOT 1 (Spaces, Peoples, Opportunities, Talks) was held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at UPH Lippo Village Karawaci. The event, titled Illustrating Wearable Art: Transforming Illustration into Fashion Expression, explored how illustration can evolve beyond visuals into wearable designs and creative business opportunities.

The event featured a talkshow and exhibition session led by Glory J. Immanuela, who shared her journey in building a wearable art brand, along with insights on transforming illustration into fashion pieces. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the creative process, industry possibilities, and how to translate artistic expression into tangible products.

PrimaGraphia goes to DKV UPH

PrimaGraphia goes to Campus: DKV UPH was held on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, at Universitas Pelita Harapan, Building B Room B301. The event took place from 1 PM to 3 PM as part of a collaborative initiative following the MoU partnership between PrimaGraphia and DKV UPH. The session aimed to introduce students to industry practices while also providing insights into digital printing and creative business opportunities.

The event featured an information session and mini seminar titled How to Make Your Digital Print Ready and Sellable. During the session, the PrimaGraphia team shared practical knowledge on preparing design files for print production, ensuring quality output, and understanding how to create print-ready designs that are marketable.

Participants gained valuable insights into the technical and creative aspects of digital printing, as well as the potential of turning their design work into sellable products. The session also provided a closer look at how industry collaboration can support students in developing real-world skills.

DOT 1 – Become a Merch Artist!

DOT (Design Online Talks) took place on Friday, October 24th, 2025, via Zoom. Titled First Steps to Become a Merch Artist, the session explored how to start in the merch design industry. It covered early challenges and practical first steps.

Creative X Technology Event Series was held on Friday, April 10th, 2026, as an online session via Zoom. The talk, titled Design Meets Tech: Shaping Tomorrow’s Digital Careers, explored how creativity and technology intersect in shaping future career paths in the digital industry.

2025 Student Welcoming Event : “DKVCraft”

On August 29, 2025, the Student Association of VCD UPH hosted a welcoming event called DKVCraft, a program designed to greet the incoming 2025 batch of students. This fun and interactive gathering included an introduction to the VCD Student Association, social activities, and light games inspired by the world of Minecraft’s Creative World to ignite student’s creative side. Through DKVCraft, the 2025 students had the opportunity to connect with one another and gain a deeper understanding of the VCD UPH community in a creative and engaging way.

Typolog 2025

Typolog 2025 was recently held from May 10th and May 12th to 17th, 2025, at Scientia Square Park, Gading Serpong. The event featured a mural typography competition, seminars, work critiques, and workshops conducted by two outstanding mentors: Ramsta Aria and Yehezkiel Penalosa, one of our alumni.

Hear Us Out Exhibition

The Hear Us Out exhibition was successfully held from March 3-7, 2025, in Room B 301. The event was officially opened on Monday, March 3, 2025, and attended by DKV students eager to explore the best poster designs showcasing typography experimentation.

The posters displayed in this exhibition were created by students as part of their exploration in the Introduction to Typography class. Throughout the course, students experimented with various typographic elements, compositions, and visual storytelling techniques to communicate messages effectively through design. This process allowed them to develop a deeper understanding of typography’s role in visual communication.

Following the exhibition, an online review session was conducted with Luke McConnel from Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec), our collaborative partner. This session provided a valuable opportunity for students to receive direct feedback from Luke. The students’ enthusiasm was evident, as they actively engaged by asking insightful questions about typography in their poster designs.
